December 19, 2004 - The 2005 Cycle World International Motorcycle Show rolls into Washington, D.C. on January 14-16, 2005. is organizing the MARRC booth at this event and is looking for shift volunteers. Anyone working the show will earn credit toward your 2005 MARRC year-end awards.
December 4, 2004 - The MARRC Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet has been set for Saturday, January 22, 2005. And this year the banquet is FREE to all MARRC members in good standing!
October 13, 2004 - It's time to vote for your favorite MARRC racers and volunteers of the 2004 season! You may vote online or download the ballot and either bring it to Video Night or mail it in. All ballots must be received no later than November 7th, 2004. Please submit only one ballot. Awards will be presented at the MARRC Annual Banquet in January 2005.
October 12, 2004 - Executive Committee Elections... Five seats on the Executive Committee (EC) are up for election for 2005. The 9-member committee oversees the administrative operations of the club, which includes 25 general committees and 5 executive-level committees. Any MARRC member in good standing may be nominated to run for a seat on the EC, provided that five fellow MARRC members in good standing nominate the person in writing to the MARRC Secretary before 31 October. October 12, 2004 - MARRC your calendar... Video Night is set for November 6, 2004 and it's FREE to all MARRC members! Pizza, munchies and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided (*BYOB*). The awesome motorcycle GP roadracing movie, "Faster" will be screened in addition to recent onboard footage from the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park. Please bring your DVDs, Mini-DVs and VHS tapes!
September 16, 2004 - Due to delays in completing the Shenandoah Circuit, CCS has announced that the October 9-10, 2004 event at Summit Point Motorsports Park has been cancelled. Therefore, the MARRC Roadracing School and Safety Crew activities scheduled for that weekend has also been cancelled. For more information, read the announcement from CCS.
August 1, 2004 - Track Record Broken! Congratulations to Robert Jensen, who has set a new Summit Point overall track record of 1:14.401, set during the Jensen's win in the Open Superstock event at the WERA National weekend. Ironically, Larry Pegram, the former record holder, came placed second in the race, and his best time was just a few hundredths of a second off of his track record. Later in the day, Tray Batey and Brian Stokes also rode in the high 1:14 range, but could not better Jensen's time. So far, those are the only riders to go faster than the 1:15 mark.
August 1, 2004 - Due to delays in completing the Shenandoah Circuit, CCS has announced that the September 4-5 event at Summit Point Motorsports Park has been cancelled. Therefore, the MARRC Roadracing School and Safety Crew activities scheduled for that weekend have also been cancelled.
July 27, 2004 - Make plans for MARRC Track Day on Thursday July 29. Lots of track time at a great price! Stay for the 3-day WERA National, and enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast courtesy of Chef Will Astle and the food crew.
June 15, 2004 - Due to delays in completing the Shenandoah Circuit, CCS has announced that the July 17-18 event at Summit Point Motorsports Park has been cancelled. Therefore, the MARRC Roadracing School scheduled for that weekend has also been cancelled. For more information, read the announcement from CCS. Summit Point hopes that the Shenandoah Circuit will be ready for the September CCS event.

April 27, 2004 - Get more seat time! MARRC Track Days now set for Friday May 28 and Thursday July 29. Click here for the schedule and sign-up information.
April 12, 2004 - Nine great motorcycle race weekends are on the calendar this year, including 2 nationals. Before each national event we are having a MARRC Track Day for which we will need cornerworkers -- on Friday May 28 and on Thursday July 29. As always, time worked for the club, whether at the track or away from the track, counts toward year-end awards. The first starts in just 4 days, so start planning now! April 8, 2004 - There will be three Tune and Test Days run by Roger Lyle at Summit Point Raceway using the legendary 2 mile , 10 turn road course. Racers will receive hours of track time. The dates are Thursday April 8, Friday June 11, and Friday September 17. Cornerworkers and a staffed ambulance will be present. April 7, 2004 - MARRC thanks everyone who came out to help set up on our Safety Crew equipment for the upcoming season. We had a great day! We'll be good to go for our first race weekend on April 17 and 18. February 16, 2004 - Due to events beyond our control, the 4-Hour CISM class scheduled for February 21 has been cancelled. The session will be rescheduled for a later date.

December 26, 2003 - The Timonium Bike Show is scheduled for February 13-15 just north of Baltimore, MD at the Timonium Fairgrounds.
